Seafront Incident Update - Sunday 18th June 2017

Today at approx. 15:45 on Weston-super-Mare seafront, an incident occurred involving Service 100.

We write to confirm that both Police and Ambulance crews were called to attend an RTA this afternoon which involved a Crosville bus and one company employee. Early investigations indicate that the incident was a result of the company employee suffering a fall due to a ‘missed footing’ occurrence.

The company is very pleased to confirm, after close communication with the family this evening, that the individual has not suffered any broken bones nor any major injuries and it is hoped that the person will be returning home very soon. We wish to thank all concerned today, especially members of the local community who stopped to help at a particularly busy time in Weston’s calendar.
