Following the story in this week’s Weston Mercury entitled ‘Buses clash in turf war’, we would like to reassure passengers that Crosville Motor Services remains committed to providing a robust and dependable transport service for Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas.

As a local business, we fully recognise the importance of having frequent, well-spaced services, and apologise to customers using the 103 route for any inconvenience that the recent timetable changes may have caused.

Contrary to the impression given in the article, we have a positive and collaborative relationship with First, which is clearly demonstrated by our joint status as preferred bidders for the £50million passenger services contract for Hinkley Point C. Although the recent timetable changes resulted in buses being scheduled too closely together, this has now been rectified and we will work with First to ensure this issue does not reoccur.

Crosville introduced the 103 service last year following demand from local customers and we continue to listen to their feedback. Our aim is to run a reliable and cost-effective transport option, and on the whole that’s exactly what we deliver, providing a good value service that offers the best way to travel in and around Weston.
