As a regular user of service 106 Weston-Worlebury, I would like to say how important this service is to the town. However I have heard rumours that Crosville may reduce this service. I do hope this is not the case, as it is a lifeline to many people.
As you say "Jonathan Jones-Pratt has a clear goal to restore the faith and tradition in local bus operation within Weston-super-Mare." Jonathan also refers to "customer focussed drivers." This last remark is certainly very true, compared to other bus operators.
I do hope you will take into consideration these remarks, should you be envisaging any changes to this service.
Good evening, I would just like to let you know about one of your drivers. Sandie who drives the number 100 bus from Weston to Sand Bay, what an incredible lady. She is so kind and considerate both with locals and holiday makers alike. She is a real credit to this bus service and to society. I work in a customer facing role and know how important it is to have an employee like Sandie. I am not sure how you reward your staff but I think she deserves a bonus. What a fabulous lady you have.
I can not thank your members of staff enough! Not only have they found my daughter's bus pass but they have taken the trouble to locate and message her to organise its safe return. How amazing are they and a true credit to your company. Please thank them once again from us we are truly grateful.
We just wanted to let you know that we had a great day on the 21st October. It was a wonderful wedding and travelling up with our family to the Mansion House on the open-top double decker was one of many highlights of the day! Everyone (young and old!) really enjoyed the journey and we arrived bang on time. Despite ‘storm Brian’ we did manage to get some lovely photos of the bride and groom on the bus after the ceremony – we also have a few less formal ones of our journey up!

I’ve just had a lady on the phone who wanted to pass on big praise to Simon Hughes. She said he’s very friendly and a very competent driver. She was on his bus on Saturday 11th February and is very happy as he drives responsibly and takes it easy down roads that other drivers would usually go quickly down and make the journey uncomfortable!!
I have just got home from a ride on the 106 service from town and I have to send my congratulations to the driver. The lady didn’t have a name badge on but she had short blond hair. She was SO helpful to myself and many of the people who got on the bus, especially a Chinese lady who didn’t have much command of the English language. Because of all the detours the lady was worried she had got on the wrong bus, but the driver reassured her. Lots of passengers were asking her questions which she must have answered many times but she replied in a polite and friendly way. Her driving was exemplary, given the amount of detours around the town and the narrowness of the roads at the Shrubbery.
It all made for a pleasant journey and I would like to express my thanks to her. If you could pass this on to her I would be much obliged. I find people are often quick to complain and a simple “Thank You” goes a long way.

I just had to tell you about one of your drivers, name of Kathy, on the 103. I was running to catch the bus this morning that was just about to leave. I'm 66 and was loaded with Asda shopping and this lovely lady waited for me. When this has happened before usually the driver has shaken his head and driven past me. I was so grateful to this lady and had to tell you about her.
I wanted to write to you personally regarding the excellent service we experienced from one of your drivers. We hired a coach to collect at multiple stops from Weston to Cardiff on Saturday afternoon and a return journey later that evening.
The driver was more than helpful and provided a service above and beyond what we were expecting. One particular example of this outstanding service is that a member of my staff's wife felt ill during the concert, she had developed a very nasty headache and he couldn't have been more accommodating in helping the couple back ahead of time to sit quietly in the coach for the last 30mins.
We will without doubt use your services again, especially if you could guarantee the same driver!

I just wanted to write a letter of praise to whoever the man was driving the number 16 bus on the 20-04-2016. He was probably the friendliest bus driver I have ever had the pleasure to ride into town with. I had my Pram with me and he was so helpful asking if the brakes were on my Pram before he drove off and just interested in the age of my son, he was so lovely. He was happily talking to everyone on the bus as he drove and, as you know, that doesn't happen very often as bus drivers have the image of being miserable, but this one definitely was not. He was driving the 752 bus. Thank you to him for making my journey as comfortable and friendly as possible.
Yesterday I lost my phone on one of the Crosville buses and now I safely have it back, thanks to the Crosville team. They are always very friendly and yesterday proved how helpful they really are. I thought I'd lost all the pictures of my daughter but after emailing the team, I got an email back almost instantly telling me they had my phone and that I could pick it up the next day. If it weren't for them, I would have lost some of the most important pictures and therefore, memories. So once again, a MASSIVE thank you to Crosville for being honest, helpful and responsive. You guys put my faith back in humanity!

I'd like to actually commend your service today. I needed to catch the 103 in Weston-super-Mare that was travelling along Locking Road this evening at 16:45 approx.
I was late catching this bus and managed to see it travelling along towards the stop but knew I wouldn't catch it. So I started to run and I managed to catch up.
The lady bus driver said she could see I was running and said there was no way she would have driven off. I'd like you to pass on my thanks to her, absolutely brilliant passenger service.

I rarely use buses but yesterday (Friday 29 Nov at about 10am) I needed to get from Weston Hospital into town. I came out of the hospital grounds and one of your buses and its driver was waiting to start their route. The driver was called Stuart and he couldn't have been more helpful.... he was very friendly and whilst on the journey was very considerate of the older passengers getting on and off. I don't normally have reason to give good feedback but felt it was important that I let you know what a first class member of staff you have! Many thanks.
Whilst sitting on the seat in the bus shelter waiting for the number 83 bus feeling fine and talking to other passengers, due to no fault of my own I made a spectacle of myself when I suddenly collapsed onto the pavement, resulting in bodily injury and feeling very poorly.
It would be very much appreciated if you could identify the driver of the bus and convey my Sincere Thanks and Appreciation for his help and support throughout the ordeal.
He was my Guardian Angel and Good Samaritan rolled into one, taking control of the situation, contacting the Ambulance and staying on line until the Ambulance arrived. Despite my repeated requests "I need to get on your bus to get home as I am a carer to my very sick husband," he assured me the bus was going nowhere until he was happy I was receiving medical assistance from the Paramedics and was in safe hands.
He certainly went the extra mile for me (not on the bus I hasten to add) providing extra special customer service. It's people like him who make the world a nicer place to live in. I hope life treats him as kind as he was to me. You can't get better customer service than that. I sincerely hope he didn't get in trouble with the manager when the bus was running late.
His kindness, caring and compassion was very much appreciated and for that I will always be grateful. Once again please convey my Sincere Thanks and Appreciation to him.

Hello All at Crosville, Apologies for the delay in emailing - but as you can appreciate the end of term is always a bit manic.
We would just like to say a very big THANK YOU for our recent booking and trip to Thorpe Park.
The kids had a fab time - as did the staff and it was all made much more pleasurable by the driver - Dave (the 'bit bonkers & very chatty' one!!)

I would like to say how impressed I was with one of your drivers on the No 14 service in Weston-Super-Mare. He was polite and friendly, and when a young lady with a small child was about to get off the bus he got out of his cab to help her with the pushchair, something I've not seen for a very long while. Also, on seeing some ladies trying to read the timetable in a shelter on the other side of the road, he stopped to ensure they got the information they were seeking. I don't know if his actions are normal, whether they are or not he is a credit to your company.
On Saturday 19th April, my wife and I had the pleasure of travelling on your route 100 from Sandbay to Weston and back with the most considerate, kindly, efficient driver whose name, I believe, was Tony. He is a credit to your company. He carried out his duties with good humour and politeness despite having had a very busy day. Please convey our thanks to him.
I would like to let you know that DEL 893C was just perfect, and I even managed to keep it a surprise right up to the point when we left the hotel...
In fact it worked out better than a single decker could have done as my grandchildren (aged from 2 to 4 years) travelled upstairs at the front and were all very very excited, I can still hear them singing "The wheels on the bus"... Magic moments!!!
The amazed look on our neighbours faces as we pulled up outside our house was priceless and makes us chuckle even now..

Yesterday, 11th March, at 1523 hours, my wife and I caught a number 16 bus from Ashcombe Way to Weston town centre. My wife unfortunately left her shopping on that bus.
We then caught a number 105 bus to Ashcombe Park. To ask for information on lost property, we told the driver that we had left the shopping on the number 16. He said " Let me see if I can help you".
He telephoned his base and asked them to pass a message to the driver of the number 16, asking him hold the shopping.
Between them they arranged for me to meet the next number 16 bus in Weston, where I was handed the shopping.
Both my wife - she is 89 years old - and I, aged 94, wish to let you know of the wonderful service those drivers gave us.
It is little wonder that the Crosville 105 service with its always cheerful and friendly drivers is now, among we "oldies", the most popular bus service on the Weston Hospital to Sainsburys route.
Please let the drivers know how much we appreciate their very kind assistance.

I got on the number 105 service at Uphill School today at 8.50. I think the driver's name was Emma. Can I just say how lovely and friendly she was? We had a whole conversation! It's people like this that put a smile on people's faces!
I have travelled on Crosville buses in Uphill - Weston S Mare - on several occasions and I have been extremely impressed with a certain lady - Emma Burgess. Emma is ALWAYS kind and considerate to the passengers on the bus. She is like a little ray of sunshine and well worth commending.
Normally I don't enjoy getting the bus but today I got your 103 service from town the verbena way and the bus driver was so friendly and a good driver which does make a change from alot of bus drivers. He truly deserves recognising.
A passenger emailed to ask us why the Service 83 timetable had to be changed.
We explained how we were working with the Council and with passengers to provide a route and frequency that met their needs more fully.
Some time later...
Crosville: Have you noticed the 83 running better on time?
Passenger: Yes, definitely - both ways. It's certainly the most picturesque route in town.
Crosville: Next year we are planning to run open top buses on it through the summer months - something different. So do you feel that this is running more punctually, time wise? I really do hope so as we have all made efforts to get this working right!
Passenger: Yes. Definitely. It's now usually on time. You've got the best drivers too!

My son absolutely loves buses and he has a whole range of toy ones. For his 2nd birthday last month all he wanted to do was go in a bus so me and my husband decided to take him on the bus to Sand Bay for some cake and then on another bus later to Hutton to take him for lunch. My little boy loved it so much and your drivers were so lovely to him. One even let him have a photo in the doorway - it really did make his day. I just wanted to thank you and say what a brilliant service you have and what wonderful drivers you have.
Just to say a massive 'Thank You' for your generous offer of a free return bus ride to Weston-Super-Mare. We took you up on this as we live in Worle & drove to Sand Bay to get the open top bus to Weston-Super-Mare.
Myself & my wife, along with our 2 children (Matthew 3, Zoe 7) had a fantastic time on Friday 26th July due to the experience we had from the open top bus ride. Matthew is a massive bus fanatic & he had a day he will never forget. It brought back memories for myself & my wife as we used to also use the open top bus when we were children.
The service we received was second to none, from the cleanliness of the bus to the drivers friendliness. We were made to feel very welcome & the bus driver was extremely helpful in ensuring our children enjoyed their ride on the bus.
In todays economic climate you very rarely see companies offering free services to local people, so 'Well Done' to your company for providing this.
I would have no hesitation in recommending your company & would also use the 'Crosville' bus service as our preferred choice in the future. Again a very big 'Thank You'.

There were lots of roadworks and narrow gaps to get through, but she was excellent and very patient. I would have struggled in my little Micra to do some of the manoeuvers. Well done, Emma.
I have to write to commend your drivers, they are courteous, friendly, nothing is too much trouble.
On Saturday 27th June about 12.25pm I was crossing Regent Street (near the carrot) to get the 105. The 105 was due to leave the bus stop but your driver saw me crossing the road with my shopping and he very kindly stopped and waited for me. He must have seen the look on my face! This is the first time ever in the 40 years I have lived here that a bus driver has waited for me so credit were credit is due.
I am pleased that First Bus has at last got competition in this town. It's about time, so keep it up.......

Thank you for all your efforts to supply a reliable bus service between Hutton and Weston-super-Mare. Our bus service now appears to be regular and efficient and the older Huttonians are extremely grateful, particularly the residents of sheltered housing schemes.

I wish to compliment the driver, Emma, on the 105 service. She had a polite word for every passenger, was extremely courteous to all road users, waited till the more infirm sat down, was patient with everybody, was cheerful and responsive to everyone.
All new drivers should spend some time with her to see how it should be done. Her positive attitude helps her to enjoy her day and all passengers and road users benefit.
She is a credit to the company and I thought you ought to know, although you probably do, what an asset she is. Please pass on my thanks for an enjoyable journey. If I have a choice of buses I will choose Crosville.
